Culture For Kids in the Arts is a registered charitable organization dedicated to providing access to high quality arts programming for Hamilton youth and children for charitable and educational institutions.  The overall program has a mission to provide experiences to students in the Hamilton community that would not exist otherwise.

Through Mentorship, more than 40,000 children and youth have experienced the Arts.  It is an Arts Co-op Program that creates opportunities for secondary students to assist directed art classes in dance, drama, music and visual arts to elementary students in grades 1 to 8 through a series of Ontario Curriculum-focused demonstrations.

Launching in Summer 2010, Artasia is a new city-wide initiative combining visual arts and recyclable materials.  There are artists, children, youth mentors, apprentices, corporations and community organizations working together to create a public art and media installation that expresses the children’s future vision of Hamilton.  The After School Arts Program delivers art, drama, dance and music programs that reach hundreds of school age children (ages 6-12) across Hamilton in collaboration with the Eva Rothwell Centre, the Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club, Today’s Family, Wesley Urban Ministries and the YMCA.

The Connect Project is a performing arts and stage craft school-to-work program that boasts an 85 per cent attendance success rate.  Teens create a performance from scratch to the final curtain call, exposing them to the transferable skills that exist in the Arts and Entertainment business, Canada’s fourth largest industry.  The Scholarship Program supports the most talented students in our programs in living their dreams and full potential, and to fulfill the idea that one artist can inspire millions.
