Daring to follow her artistic dreams, Alyssa Nedich has been working as a choreographer, director and dance instructor for six years. Always willing to try something new, Alyssa has developed a versatile portfolio with experience in competitions, classrooms, theatres and on movie sets. She can be seen on stages and screens across Canada, as well as sitting on the other side creating, curating and developing new work.
Most recently, Alyssa choreographed and produced a twenty-minute performance piece Deva, for the 2016 Frostbites Festival, which received outstanding reviews in The Hamilton Spectator and Hamilton View. In the past year Alyssa has worked with notable choreographers like Melissa Jane Shaw, and Learie Mc Nicholls. Specifically, Alyssa was honored with the opportunity to choreograph for Learie Mc Nicholls’ Little Dances Big Stage and was hand-picked to perform a solo choreographed by Nicholls. She has also played Agnes in Gypsy and Grandma Addams in Addam’s Family during Hammer Entertainment’s 2014-2015 season.You can catch Alyssa as a dancer on screen in the new country movie musical Country Crush.
