HCA SUMMER CAMP - For Parents
To keep students and parents informed about events and other important camp information (ensuring a smooth camp experience), an informational newsletter will be emailed in advance of each camp and available at the front desk at the beginning of the camp session.
Due to the limited space in our camps, we will require written notice prior to the camp start date. A refund will be given if cancelled more than one month before camp. No refunds will be applied once camp has started.
SUMMER CAMP FREE EXTENDED CARE
Extended care is available in the mornings from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and in the afternoon from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm for our CAE, Triple Threat and Just Dance Camps. No extended care is available for our Kinder Arts Exploration Camps.
Students must be signed in and signed out of extended care at all times. We do not allow students to leave the building unless a parent/guardian or another adult designate accompanies them or written permission is given directly to the front desk administration. Students attending aftercare are welcome to bring items from home for their personal enjoyment such as books and games.
LOST AND FOUND
Please ensure all student clothing items are labelled. If you have lost something, please contact us immediately. We have a lost and found located in the front lobby.
Many campers have fatal allergies to nuts. All camps are nut-free. Please do not send any nut-based products to camp.
If a student is using any medication, (including Asthma inhalers) or carries an Epi Pen please inform us at the time of registration by completing a medical form. Asthma Inhalers and Epi Pens may be carried on the child. All other prescription medications must be turned in to a staff member at morning sign in. Prescription medications must be in the original bottle, labelled with the patient's name and the physicians ordered dose on the label. Non-prescription medication should not be sent to camp.

If a camper becomes injured, camp staff will complete an accident report and will administer first aid if needed. The camp staff, in conjunction with the HCA Administrative Team, will make any decisions regarding further medical care. If the injury requires further medical attention, we will contact you directly.
HCA Administration or camp staff will review the accident report with the parent/guardian and request your signature for confirmation.
PICKUP AND DROPOFF PROCEDURES
An adult should always accompany students into the facility. At the end of the day, students must be signed out by an adult. We do not allow students to leave the building unless a parent/guardian or another adult designate accompanies them or written permission is given directly to the front desk administration.
