Step Up invites dancers aged 12-18 into a professional rehearsal hall and build a contemporary dance piece from the ground up with a professional choreographer.

 

In 2026, acclaimed choreographer Colleen Snell, Artistic Director of Frog in Hand joined Step Up as our guest choreographer.

This isn't a typical class. Participants learn, rehearse, and perform an original contemporary work — the same process professional dancers go through, from first rehearsal to opening night.
