CLASS DESCRIPTION

Beginner Adult Ballet II

Beginner Adult Ballet II is designed for dancers who have already established a foundation in beginner ballet. Continuing to progress through fundamental ballet techniques, students focus on refining strength, flexibility, and mastering skills such as allegro, pirouettes, and adage.

Prerequisite: At least one year of Beginner Adult Ballet is recommended. This class also welcomes individuals who may have previous experience in ballet but seek a refresher on basic terminology and skills.

INSTRUCTOR

Heather Dunn

Heather is a former professional ballet dancer who trained at Canada’s National Ballet School and the English National Ballet School. She danced with companies including Scottish Ballet and The Royal Danish Ballet before returning to Canada, where she now shares her extensive experience and passion for dance with students of all ages and abilities.

UNIFORM & MATERIALS

Bodywear: Leotard or snug fitting attire (leggings and tank tops accepted)

Tights (recommended): So Danca TS-74 Footed Light Pink

Footwear: Any light pink canvas ballet slipper

Registration Fee (Single Student): $30

Registration Fee (Family): $50

Costume Fee: TBC (for students participating in the year-end recital)
