Level VIII Ballet builds upon the foundation laid in previous levels, pushing students further in terms of physicality, endurance, and body articulation while cultivating artistry within an exam-oriented framework. A key focus is on pointe work, which is introduced once a week in Level VII and integrated as part of the repertoire in Level VIII. Classes are held twice a week, with a dedicated 45-minute session for pointe work, refining technical skills essential for progression into higher ballet levels. Please note: Approval of your ballet instructor is required for pointe shoes. Given the delicate nature of pointe, only students demonstrating strong skills in allegro and ankle stability, with consistent relevé movement patterns, are invited for pointe shoe fitting. For those not yet on pointe, participating in the demipointe section of the class is strongly encouraged to enhance strength and technique development.
