CLASS DESCRIPTION
Novice Jazz/Hip Hop Fusion invites students to dive into jazz and hip hop throughout the year. This high-energy class teaches fundamental movement techniques and encourages students to express themselves through movement storytelling. Throughout the year, students develop body awareness, stamina, strength, and flexibility, all while exploring emotion and expression and building confidence.

UNIFORM & MATERIALS
Bodywear: Leotard or snug-fitting black shorts (Capezio TB113C/TB113)
Tights: Tights are optional. If transitioning from ballet class, tights are recommended.
Footwear: Black slip on jazz shoe. Any brand.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Raniya Farah
Raniya Farah is a classically trained ballet dancer and educator with extensive experience in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and other dance styles. A recipient of the Marijan Bayer Award for technical merit and artistic achievement, she has trained and performed internationally and is passionate about sharing her love of dance with students.
