CLASS DESCRIPTION

Senior Ballet

Senior Ballet includes curriculum from Pre-Elementary and Elementary Ballet. This class introduces students to classical ballet repertoire tailored to enhance both technical and artistic skills. Emphasis is placed on movement quality, ensuring technical precision and artistic expression. Students engage in a variety of variations, from duets to larger group formations, refining their technique as exercises become more complex. Dancers work en pointe.

Please note, at this level, participation in ballet examinations is optional.

INSTRUCTOR

Aurora Martínez

Aurora Martínez is a Mexican ballet dancer and educator who trained at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza de Monterrey and performed with Ballet de Monterrey for six years. She has performed classical, neo-classical, and contemporary works and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers.
