Senior Musical Theatre Ensemble is an immersive, performance-centred program that welcomes teens of all experience levels! Students will develop their performance skills while studying voice, dance, and acting for the stage. Through studying popular musical theatre repertoire (ensemble, small group, and solo material), students will have the opportunity to challenge themselves, grow beyond their expectations, and shine on stage. Engage in mock audition exercises to test your abilities in a supportive atmosphere. With numerous performance chances throughout the year, Senior MTE students will excel on stage!

TERM ONE:
Building the Foundation: Dance, acting, and voice workshops; Storytelling through staging production numbers
Culminates in our annual Senior MTE Winter Showcase! (December)

TERM TWO:
Repertoire & Skill Building: Solo and small group exploration; Audition preparation; Acting through song
Culminates in a Solo Showcase! (March)

TERM THREE:
Set the Stage: Polishing rehearsals; Working with Junior MTE to stage a large production number
Culminates in our annual MTE Spring Showcases as part of the HCA Theatre School Spring Studio Performance Series, June
