CLASS DESCRIPTION
Teen Acting I
Teen Acting is a dynamic class that sets the stage for risk-taking and confidence-building for young actors. Perfect for newcomers or those with a recreational interest, our program delves into improv, text analysis, movement, collaborative creation, scene study, monologue work, and more. Gain self-assurance, sharpen communication, and thrive within a supportive team environment.
TERM ONE: Theatre Craft & Improvisation
TERM TWO: Text Work, Scene Study & Monologues
TERM THREE: Set the Stage: Rehearsal and HCA Theatre School Spring Studio Performance Series
TAKE THE STAGE! This program culminates in an invited presentation in June in the HCA Black Box Theatre.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will require attendance at dress rehearsals and performances in May and June (dates TBA).

Stephanie Hope Lawlor
Stephanie Hope Lawlor is an award-nominated actor, director, program creator, and teaching artist with over two decades of professional experience. A leader in Hamilton’s theatre community, she is passionate about developing emerging artists and creating inclusive, supportive spaces where students can build confidence, explore their craft, and grow.

Production Fee: $70 in Term Three. This fee covers all rehearsal-related expenses, including printing, technicians, small props, and other production needs.
