Kamaldeep Kaur is a Canadian visual artist with cultural roots in India, working with gouache, natural pigments, and mixed media inspired by Indian miniature painting traditions. Her practice explores themes of identity, belonging, and cultural memory through a contemporary lens. An artist resident at the Art Gallery of Burlington, she has exhibited over 40 exhibitions, with recent appearances at the Artist Project (2024, 2025) and the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (2023). She is a recipient of the TOAF Artist Encounter Grant (2023), Ontario Arts Council support (2024, 2025), and the All India and Zonal Award from the Prafulla Art Foundation (2017), and was shortlisted for the 2025 City of Hamilton Arts Award in the Creator category. With over ten years of studio practice and five years of teaching experience, she has instructed with Arts for All, Under the Willows, YMCA Beyond the Bell, and programs across Hamilton, Mississauga, and Toronto, with additional lessons on Skillshare and YouTube.
